Paradise Transit Center

Mark Thomas provided preliminary engineering, final design, and construction management & inspection services for a new bus transfer center in the Town of Paradise. The Paradise Transit Center project improved bus operations and the customer experience in the downtown area while enhancing connections for bicycles, pedestrians, and park-and-ride users.

The transit center included three transit stops located along Birch Street, a park and ride lot with nine parking spaces available to transit riders, a storage building with spaces dedicated for use by B-Line and the Town, new bus stop facilities, including bus shelters, pedestrian benches, bike racks, lighting and landscaping improvements, storm drain facilities, and electrical service for future electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.
