Description

Mark Thomas prepared final design for the Oakhurst Midtown Connector (River Parkway Road) in Madera County, delivering a cost-effective design within a limited budget while allowing for future widening of SR 41. The project includes a new two-lane collector road from Road 418 to SR 41, providing secondary access to Indian Springs and School Road and improving circulation and emergency response in eastern Oakhurst. The project features a new bridge, traffic signals, sidewalks, bike lanes, and improved connections to parks, schools, landmarks, and trails.

Mark Thomas also provided right of way acquisition support, utility relocation coordination, a Storm Water Data Report, design exceptions, environmental documentation, and design of a new water main. Additional services included agency coordination, surveying, roadway alignments, cost estimates, and construction support.
