Lower Calera Creek Flood Protection

Mark Thomas provided final design for floodwalls and retaining walls to replace the existing floodwalls. The project removed existing floodwalls that did not meet current design standards or flood requirements. A new access ramp and flood gate was included in the project to allow access to the creek channel. These floodwalls tied into existing culverts at each end of the channel and had to work around the Milpitas Materials Company site on the north side of the project.
