Multiple Mark Thomas Projects Recognized at ACEC California Engineering Excellence Awards
Multiple Mark Thomas projects earned top honors at the ACEC California Engineering Excellence Awards, including a Merit Award with the City of Glendale and several Honor Award–winning collaborations across California communities.
Our team was proud to attend the 2026 ACEC California Engineering Excellence Awards Banquet at the Disneyland Hotel, where our team accepted a Merit Award alongside the City of Glendale for the San Fernando Road Beautification and Multimodal Improvements Project.
This recognition reflects a collaborative effort to transform San Fernando Road into a safer, more connected, and more inviting corridor through thoughtful multimodal planning, streetscape and beautification enhancements, and pedestrian and bicycle safety improvements developed in close coordination with City stakeholders.
We were also honored to see several other projects our team worked on recognized with Honor Awards at the event, including the McKinley Street Grade Separation in the City of Corona, the Artesia Boulevard Bridge Emergency Repairs in the City of Compton, and the Iron Horse Trail Overcrossing at Bollinger Canyon Road in the City of San Ramon. Thank you to our agency partners and to ACEC California for celebrating the impactful work being done across communities throughout the state.
