Mark Thomas Selected to Provide Engineering Services for Damaged Bridge on Creston Road at Quail Creek
We're excited to announce that we have been selected to provide engineering services to replace the damaged bridge on Creston Road at Quail Creek in the County of San Luis Obispo!
Creston Road is a highly traveled major connector and the bridge provides access to residences, wineries, and agricultural lands on both sides of Quail Creek. The bridge was damaged during a major storm system that occurred in Winter 2023 and caused excessive scour at the bridge foundations, along with settlement of the roadway approaches and damage to a gas line. Mark Thomas is evaluating alternatives to provide a permanent solution for traffic conveyance over Quail Creek. Based on the selected alternative, Mark Thomas will provide a complete design package that includes plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E), support bidding, as well as engineering support during construction.
