Mark Thomas Selected to Lead Del Paso Multimodal Transportation & Land Use Plan

Mark Thomas will lead the Del Paso Multimodal Plan for SJRRC, boosting mobility, connectivity, and development around the future Old North Sacramento Station, with backing from key regional partners.
We’re excited to announce that the San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission (SJRRC) has selected our team to develop the Del Paso Multimodal Transportation Network and Land Use Compatibility Action Plan for the Del Paso Neighborhood in Sacramento!
This project is funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and is a partnership with the City of Sacramento, Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT), Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG), and San Joaquin Joint Powers Authority (SJJPA). The Action Plan will study multimodal connectivity, undertake land use analysis, and develop an action plan for the proposed Old North Sacramento Station and the surrounding area in the Del Paso neighborhood. This Project not only serves as a key opportunity to improve the transit and multimodal first/last mile (pedestrian, bicycle, bus, light rail and passenger rail) experiences and access of the immediate surrounding community, but to also facilitate an enhanced inter-regional multimodal mobility and connectivity between the greater Sacramento region and the Central Valley, and Bay Area regions, and to stimulate economic development and multimodal connectivity in the Del Paso neighborhood.
