Mark Thomas Selected for Lower Sacramento Road Bridge Replacement Project in Stockton
Mark Thomas will lead design and environmental clearance for Stockton’s Lower Sacramento Road Bridge Replacement, widening roads, replacing bridges, and adding pedestrian and bike facilities to improve safety and connectivity.
Mark Thomas has been selected to provide environmental clearance and final design for the Lower Sacramento Road Bridge Replacement project in the City of Stockton. Our team will lead the roadway and bridge design, widening Lower Sacramento Road and replacing two aging bridges at Bear Creek and Pixley Slough.
We’ll also ensure full NEPA and CEQA compliance through detailed environmental documentation, while incorporating multimodal enhancements such as pedestrian and bicycle facilities to support safe, sustainable transportation. These improvements will enhance traffic flow, safety, and connectivity throughout the Stockton community, and we look forward to partnering with the City of Stockton to bring this important project to life.
