Mark Thomas Selected for Final Design Services on I-880/Decoto Road Interchange Modernization Project
We're excited to be selected for final design services on the I-880/Decoto Road Interchange Modernization Project in Fremont, partnering with Alameda CTC and Caltrans!
Our team worked closely with the City and Caltrans to develop and process the PID phase in the form of a Project Study Report-Project Development Support (PSR-PDS), where we identified the Project Purpose & Need and identified potential alternatives. We’re currently working with the City to deliver the Project Approval & Environmental Document (PA&ED) phase of the project, which is under final review with Caltrans. The Project will upgrade the existing interchange to provide enhanced multimodal travel for all users, including the implementation of a new dedicated bus-only lane in the westbound direction and a grade separated Class I trail through the interchange.
