Mark Thomas Selected for Blue Oaks Boulevard Roadway & Bridge Widening Project in Roseville

The City has experienced significant population growth over the past years. Located at the Northwest Industrial Area of the City, Blue Oaks Boulevard is experiencing heavy congestion from Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard, Washington Boulevard, and SR 65. The City’s General Plan identified that this portion of Blue Oaks Boulevard requires roadway widening improvements. This corridor is currently a six-lane arterial roadway merging into four lanes to conform to the four-lane bridge spanning Industrial Avenue and UPRR. Improvements include roadway widening from four lanes to eight lanes, the addition of a new four-lane bridge, and traffic signal/intersection improvements along the corridor. Additionally, the project will widen Blue Oaks Boulevard in the eastbound direction between Prairie Woods Way and Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard from three to four lanes.
