Mark Thomas Celebrates Ribbon Cutting for I-15 Congestion Relief Project in Temecula

October 1, 2024

We had a great time at today's ribbon cutting ceremony for the I-15 Congestion Relief project in the City of Temecula!

This project represents one of several operational improvements identified by the Move I-15 Through Temecula Valley Task Force, aimed to provide congestion relief through the added capacity of a 12-foot wide auxiliary lane and 10-foot wide shoulder on the northbound I-15, approximately 2,800 feet in length. Our team provided design, environmental clearance, and Caltrans coordination for the project located between Temecula Parkway and Rancho California Road. In addition to the mainline widening, improvements include a sub-horizontal ground anchor wall under the Santiago Road overcrossing, drainage modifications & enhancements, relocation of existing on-ramp lighting, and planting and irrigation improvements along the highway.
