A notable favorite project she’s worked on is the Highway 1 – State Park to Freedom Improvement Project, a priority segment of the Watsonville-Santa Cruz Multimodal Corridor Program (WSC-MCP) Cycle 3. “It was designed per both Railroad and Highway Bridge Seismic standards, helping to improve my understanding of railroad bridge design and seismic design.”
Demi shares that her work with bridge design plays a critical role in safeguarding lives and enhancing road conditions, making it an incredibly impactful and meaningful job. Through her work, Demi is helping to shape a future where communities can enjoy safe and reliable infrastructure.
