Engaging with the Oroville Community on the Washington Ave & Table Mountain Project
Mark Thomas and AIM Consulting hosted a “Coffee and Conversation” in Oroville for the Washington Ave & Table Mountain project. Thanks to the community for stopping by, sharing feedback, and helping shape the project’s future!
Mark Thomas joined Katie DeMaio from AIM Consulting, Inc. for a “Coffee and Conversation” morning at Union Coffee Club in Oroville, CA. Community members stopped by to learn about the Washington Ave & Table Mountain project and share valuable feedback to help shape the plans.
Our team is providing preliminary engineering and environmental compliance services for the project. The area serves as a backbone to the communities within Oroville, and the proposed improvements are critical to establishing additional transportation options for the community. This project will install new 10-foot-wide multi-use pathways, sidewalks, pedestrian crossing improvements, including high-visibility crosswalk markings, ADA curb ramps, pedestrian refuge islands, new Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs), and additional landscape enhancements, helping to transform the existing corridor to an inviting multimodal corridor which will accommodate vehicular travel, pedestrians, and bicyclists in the community.
We’re grateful for the community’s input and look forward to continuing these conversations as the project progresses. See you again soon, Oroville!
