Details

Description

Mark Thomas provided construction management, inspection, and survey support services for the Artesia Boulevard over Alameda Street and ACTA/UPRR Bridge Repair Project. The existing bridge sustained fire damage from an unhoused encampment, and steel girders exhibited significant distortion as a result.

The bridge replacement consists of a 49-foot-long span steel bridge supported on seat abutments and bent/pier columns. Our team worked with the City to replace the fire-damaged Span 10, and a portion of span 9 of the bridge due to the severity of the fire damage to the steel girder members and their connections.
