Mark Thomas Celebrates Ribbon Cutting for Limonite Gap Closure Project in Eastvale, Enhancing Regional Connectivity

We were excited to participate in yesterday's ribbon cutting ceremony for the Limonite Gap Closure Project in the City of Eastvale, CA!
Our team prepared the successful $9.5 million LPP grant application and provided planning, final design, and construction support for the gap closure of Limonite Avenue, which provides the final link to complete the regional east-west connection from SR 71 to I-15. The gap closure extends Limonite Avenue at Archibald Avenue to Hellman Avenue and extends bicycle and pedestrian facilities with 12-foot Class I paths on both sides of the roadway. The project also includes a new 320-foot bridge crossing over the Cucamonga Creek Channel with viewpoint plazas, cool down features, and substantial site amenities, the addition of 2.8 miles of vehicle lanes and 1.4 miles of bicycle facilities, one signalized intersection, and one roundabout. Project improvements enhance goods movement while reducing traffic congestion and emissions in the region, and optimize multimodal connectivity and safety.
