Mark Thomas Celebrates SR 99/120 Connector Phase 1A Groundbreaking with SJCOG

We had a great time attending the SR 99/120 Connector Phase 1A groundbreaking ceremony recently with the San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG)!
We led PA&ED and PS&E for improvements to the SR 99/120 Interchange, which will improve commute routes to and from the Bay Area. The interchange experiences significant traffic congestion during peak hours, causing major backups along the connector. Due to the project size and available funding, this project has been broken into three phases.
Improvements include the widening of connector ramps from one lane to two lanes, new connecting roadways and added lanes, signalized intersections, and a new Austin Road and Union Pacific Railroad separation structure to support commuters traveling along the connector.
