The celebration continues! The San Joaquin Council of Governments broke ground this week on the State Route 99/120 Connector project to help move people and goods throughout the region.

The improvements over the next two years or so will also improve traffic safety, reduce traffic congestion, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and improve air quality. For the first time in its history, SJCOG is leading the construction project and coordinating with Caltrans, City of Manteca, and Union Pacific Railroad. Mark Thomas designed the improvements, WSP will manage the project, and Teichert Construction will build the improvements.
