Mark Thomas Provides Right of Way (ROW) Acquisition Services for West Sacramento Levee Improvement Program (WSLIP)

Mark Thomas is providing Right of Way (ROW) acquisition services for the West Sacramento Levee Improvement Program (WSLIP) for the West Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency (WSAFCA).
The WSLIP was established in 2008 and consists of improving the City of West Sacramento’s levees to achieve a minimum of 200-year flood protection. The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is currently leading the design of the Sacramento River North Levee (SRNL) – a six-mile-long reach along the west bank of the Sacramento River from the Sacramento Weir to the Stone Locks Channel.
Due to complications by the range of land uses in the area, along with residential and commercial occupancy and significant public infrastructure, The WSAFCA requires ROW and land surveying to facilitate the acquisition and certification process to allow for construction. Mark Thomas is helping to deliver these services, including property appraisals, title reports management, condemnation support, relocation assistance, and escrow support.
