Mark Thomas is a privately held company that is 100% employee-owned. This ownership consists of individual shares of stock, some of which are held in the Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), and the rest are owned by individual Common Stock Shareholders. This ownership structure allows us to maintain our employee-owned status while providing leadership transition and long-term stability for our team members.

Our Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) Makes Everyone an Owner
Our ESOP is one way we reward our team members. We provide annual discretionary distributions to each team member’s ESOP account based on company profitability (profit sharing). These funds are used to purchase ESOP shares, which are held in your account until you leave the company. As the company grows, the value of your ESOP shares increases, enhancing your financial future—all at no cost to you. This incentives all our team members to contribute to the profitability and growth of the company.

Common Stock
Our Employee-Owned Structure Ensures Smooth Leadership Transition
We have an annual share offering where company leaders and high performers are invited to purchase common stock shares. Receiving an offer for common stock is a recognition of your outstanding contributions and sets you on a path toward greater ownership and responsibility in the company. As we have a broad group of common stock shareholders, it also facilitates ongoing leadership recognition and transitions, ensuring we remain 100% employee-owned.
