Isabel Avenue (SR84)/I-580 Interchange Wins ACEC California Engineering Excellence Honor Award and APWA Northern California Transportation Project of the Year Award!

The Isabel Avenue (SR84)/ I-580 interchange is a new full access interchange that connects Route 84 to Interstate 580.  This $100M project included constructing ramps and auxiliary lanes, more than three miles of road improvements (including extensions and reconstruction of Airway Boulevard, Portola Avenue, and Isabel Avenue), five new bridge structures, large diameter drainage improvements, traffic signals and interconnections, water quality features, amphibian guidance and crossings, and significant utility relocations.
